James works with small to medium size closely held businesses in Northeast Ohio, focusing on entity formation, capitalization, negotiations, mergers, acquisitions, and asset sales.

James serves on the Board of Directors for the Good Samaritan Hunger Center, Inc. a non-profit hunger center providing hot meals and bagged food to community dining centers in Akron area neighborhoods. James is also a Summit County Democratic Party Committee Precinct Representative for Cuyahoga Falls Ward 8A.
