Contracts:
Litigation often occurs as a reaction to poorly drafted docu-
ments. Nancy brings her many years of complex litigation
experience to bear on the content and concept of every
document she drafts. Quality writing is the key to avoiding
disputes and expensive litigation, and no business situation
is too small to justify a well written agreement.
Restaurant Law:
The start-up, purchase or sale of a restaurant or other food related business may offer unique challenges. Nancy offers flat fee and package pricing to help both entrepreneurs and established food professionals realize their dreams in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Services include incorporation of restaurants and food related businesses, assistance with leasing or purchasing facilities and equipment, liquor licenses, employment contracts, sale or purchase of a business, recipe protection, and organizing other aspects of the business.
Nancy J. Heller is a business attorney committed
to excellence in counseling companies and individuals.
After attending New York University Washington
Square and University College, she obtained her law
degree from New York University School of Law.
Prior to joining Petronzio Schneier Co., LPA,
Nancy clerked in
the United
States District Court for
the Southern District of New York, and affiliated with prominent law firms
in New Jersey and Ohio over a
12 year period.
Since joining Petronzio Schneier Co., LPA in 2000, she
has developed creative problem solving, tailored to
small-to-medium sized businesses and the individuals
affiliated with them. She represents individuals and
businesses in the food, restaurant and hospitality
industries. She also represents debtors and creditors,
facilitates workouts, drafts, negotiates, and enforces
contracts, solves business problems, documents
purchases and sales of businesses and business
assets, and counsels
and implements business start-ups
and liquidations. In addition, she litigates commercial disputes
in federal, state,
bankruptcy, and appellate courts.
General Corporate:
A solid foundation will support a successful business. Nancy
helps individuals realize their corporate dreams by filing their
incorporation papers - and more important - taking the time
and effort to help them get a solid corporate foundation under
them as they head out into the thicket of the business world.
Bankruptcy:
Though Petronzio Schneier Co., LPA does not presently file
consumer bankruptcy cases, we represent creditors and
others affected in such cases, as well as creditors and
anyone else affected by a business bankruptcy case.
Business Mediation:
Sometimes, the best litigation is avoiding litigation in the first
place by utilizing a private mediator and working together to
resolve contentious issues. Nancy has succeeded in using
business mediation to obtain positive results and spare clients
the trauma and expense of litigation.
Business Litigation:
Sometimes, we have no choice but to litigate. When those
circumstances arise, you want a tough, experienced, thoughtful
advocate by your side - Nancy Heller and the law firm of
Petronzio
Schneier Co., LPA - because crossing your
fingers doesn’t
work.
